Who am I?

Hi there I am Laura Keating.

I was born in Dublin Ireland and a few months after i was born my family and I moved to Portland Oregon for my dads job. I have been so grateful and fortunate growing up in Portland. I love photography. Old fashion black and white film and digital photography. There is something about photography that makes me feel special and important when I am behind the lens. I love traveling! Someday when I have saved enough money I would love nothing more than to travel around the world with my cameras. My family is big into music. I have grown up listening to different genres of music, so music has always been apart of me. I just wish I had the music gene in my family of being able to sing or play an instrument, but I don't and that's ok with me. Family is very important to me. My family means everything to me even through our ups and downs  but being able to get through are problems is what makes us closer. I wanted to start a blog to share my stories like many others who have blogs. I have been told many times especially by my brother that I am a "rare bird". I always seem to manage to get my self into the silliest situations and instead of being upset about the things that happen to me I would rather laugh about it. I have started writing in a journal of all the silly things that have happened to me and some day when I fill up my journal witch I know I will. I plan on giving it to my siblings. I want to use this blog to share some of my stories and experiences I have experienced. I hope you enjoy my blog. Have a lovely day!!
