My quote for today is “Be who you are and say what you feel, because
those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”
-Bernard M. Baruch. I feel like this quote really describes how I am feeling today. No matter what I look like or how I feel or what is going on in my life this quote reminds me to be me and its ok to be just me. I shouldn't change who I am because someone disapproves of who am. Those who really matter to you and I in life are the ones that are always there for us now matter what. I have recently found out that i have short term memory lost, and instead of fretting over it and freaking out about it I let it go over my head. Yes now knowing I have this explains a lot about me if you know me. But I am not suddenly going to make it change who I am or who I was before I found out. Who cares if I forgot somethings now and again or even funnier, today I was trying to tell someone I had short term memory lost and I completely forgot what I had and when I remembered all I could do was laugh at myself instead of beating my self up over it. I forget things but I NEVER forget peoples birthdays or special events that are happening in my friends and family's life. If you were to tell me something that happened to you or something you are going through I wouldn't forget it, instead I would want to be there for you if you needed someone in your life or if you just needed someone to talk to. I am described as a pretty up beat person full of joy. I guess its kind of true. I would do anything for anyone in a heart beat and I take the negative of things going in my life or others and try to turn them into positives. In a way I relate life events to photography because I once read a quote that said "Life is like a camera, just focus on what's important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out just take another shot." If you were to relate me to someone I guess you could say I would be Dory from Finding Nemo. I am that forgetful person at times but at heart trying to help you in the best way as possible. I am the one singing in your ear "You know what you gotta do when life gets you down? Just keep swimming Just keep swimming Just keep swimming swimming swimming. What do we do we swim, swim, swim".
At one point of my life I was the person that was obsessed over Bobby
Mcferrin Don't Worry Be Happy song. I would constantly be listening to
it over and over again in middle school and if I ever saw someone who
seemed upset or down I would kindly walk up to them and say "Don't Worry
because every little thing is going to be alright" and than I would try
to continue on by singing the rest of the song. Witch in the end would
make the person laugh either because it acutely made them or because
they wanted me to shut up but either way listening to that song always
brightened my day. I have always told my siblings that when it comes the
day that I die I would want them to play that song at my funeral. Call
me crazy but I think its the perfect song to be played at my funeral.
Rather than being sad that I have passed away why not play the song Don't Worry
Be Happy because in my eyes i see it as I lived a good life and now its
time for you to celebrate that fact rather than mourn over me. Enough with this death nonsense for goodness sake I am only a teenager! I guess I want to leave you walking away from reading this post thinking about are you living the life you want to live and are you surround around people who care about you and who let you be who you are? Never change who you are for someone els. Life throws us curve balls but continue moving pass them in the best way possible and suitable to you. Have a lovely day! :D
